Today I shot a fun and innovative pilot presentation for a new makeover show hosted by my good friend, style hostess Sydne Summer. I was overjoyed to get the call from the production team in Italy. They had seen some of my work online, MY WEBSITE as well as my Youtube page which hosts all of my ongoing on-camera MAKEUP TUTORIALS and they were excited to meet with me and pair me with the incredible Sydne Summer for this project! We used Gwen Stefani as our “celebrity inspiration,” and as you can see I had a blast showcasing exactly what I do best- GLAMOUR!!!
Our “everywomen” model Jamie, had very sensitive skin. The rosacea on her cheeks needed a full coverage foundation- I used FACE ATELIER ULTRA FOUNDATION PRO
This foundation has become one of my key “carry everywhere I go products.” The coverage is gorgeous and it stays on where you put it on, without that slipping and sliding effect that some lightweight foundations have.
I set with a hi definition loose powder good for tv and snapshots- YOUNGBLOOD HI DEFINITION MINERAL PERFECTING POWDER This is also one of my newest “carry everywhere I go products” because of it’s matte appearance without the heaviness of talc or cornstarch. Totally invisible on the skin!
I quickly defined her eyes with a few neutral matte eyeshadow shades from MAKE UP FOR EVER and a black gel liner from TARTE which I absolutely can’t live without!
After adding false lashes only on the outer ends of her lashline, layering on three coats of waterproof mascara, all that was left was to accentuate the bold red lip that Gwen Stefani has made her signature and I used a SMASHBOX DoubleTake lipliner and she was ready to walk down our runway in the studio for her final reveal!!!
